Swedish ceramist Lena Willhammar is known for her ability to merge timeless craftsmanship with a contemporary design sensibility. Working from her studio in Sweden, she creates pieces that are both poetic and functional — always with a deep respect for the material and the process.

Each of her works begins with the tactile dialogue between hands and clay. Through subtle forms, refined textures, and carefully balanced glazes, Lena allows her ceramics to embody both simplicity and depth. Her practice is rooted in patience and precision, yet her creations carry an organic, soulful presence that makes every piece unique.

For Table Noir, Lena designed a bespoke bowl and saucer in close collaboration with Restaurant Daniel Berlin. This project exemplifies her philosophy: tableware is never merely an object, but a stage for culinary artistry. By shaping vessels that elevate both food and experience, Lena’s ceramics bridge the worlds of craft and gastronomy.

Today, Lena work continues to inspire chefs, artisans, and collectors who value design born from authenticity and mastery.
